Happy Monday, sweet SHINE girls!

Are you ready for our weekly Memory Verse?

Have fun!

Some of you may already have this verse down pat in your memory. Some of you may not have ever heard of this precious gem of a verse. Either way, I want us all to write it down and keep it with us. Put it in a place that you will see it every day.

You may even get to bless a friend with this verse one day. Just wait, it will just spill out of your mouth and your friend will be so blessed by God's Word!

I cannot even begin to tell you how this verse has set me free. When you have many, many, many imperfections, you rely on this verse a whole lot.

The struggles that I have frustrate me day in and day out. There are so many things that I would like to change about myself. However, I have come to realize that these weaknesses in my flesh are exactly the reason that I am so drawn to our Father!

I look back over my life and shudder at the mistakes I have made. The cool thing is, if I had not gotten so messed up and so on-my-knees desperate....I never would have pursued such an intimate relationship with Him.

So, when I read our memory verse, I cannot help but to well up with tears. It is because He loves me so much that He made me all flawed and goofy. :)

It's His way of making sure I realize just exactly how He can work through me when I surrender my insecurity and inferiority to Him.

Are you feeling inferior? Are you comparing your weaknesses to someone else's strength? Are you desperate to be used by Him only to feel like there is nothing He can use?

Sweet girl, embrace your weakness and surrender it to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

He will make His Power absolutely perfect in your weakness. Quit trying to hide your faults from Him. He sees you, He made you.

Acknowledge your weakness and give it right back to Him. Set those flaws at His feet and let Him have His perfect way with them.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that He will use that very flaw to show His Power through you! Oh, yes, He will!

Go to Him. Now.

Surrender yourself, flaws and all to your Father.

He's waiting.

surrendering,

jill
