Saturday: 2 Corinthians 11:1-21
Sunday: 2 Corinthians 11:22-12:10
Happy Fun Friday, SHINE girls! I have to say, I was very nervous about our new reading plan. Really, I was. It is different, yes.
However, I love how we jumped right into 2 Corinthians, and got right down and deep into some good stuff.
Did you notice how it correlates with our Kindness movement? Only God could have planned that.
11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 12 So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem[f] will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.
13 As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. 14 And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. 15 Thank God for this gift[g] too wonderful for words!

I almost flipped out of my chair when I read this yesterday! It's talking about giving and generosity. Which also relates to Kindness.
Our Fun Friday Challenge:
Pray for the Lord to reveal to you a very specific act of Kindness today. He may not reveal it to you until the opportunity presents itself, so be patient.
Pray that you will be ready and armed with the fruit of Kindness.
Girls, let's truly live on purpose this year. Let's on purpose wake up and choose Kindness. Let's stop living from day to day, randomness to randomness. That kind of living is exhausting, and unfruitful.
Wake up today and choose Kindness. Choose how you will be today. Make the decision and go with it. Stick with it. Don't look back.
You will have better days than others. That's okay. Get back up, wipe your booty off, and get back on the Kindness train.
Call some friends to hold you accountable. Challenge them to be Kind as well.
Let's see if we can out-kind each other.
