The Math Teacher…
My son, Joseph, had a huge test a couple of weeks ago. In his words, “Mom, it will be a doozie.”
He had studied for weeks. Long days and long nights of studying.
I can just imagine a little light on in his apartment late into the night, soaking in information and trying hard to absorb the massive amount of details that would be covered on this test.
He had asked me and Lem several times over those weeks to pray for him, specifically that he would do well on the test.
We of course, obliged.
The Prescription for Peace…
When my daughter, Presley, was a little girl, she suffered terribly with night terrors.
If you have a child that has gone through this, you know how exhausting and completely terrifying they are to your child.
She would wake up screaming and covered in perspiration night after night.
A wise friend began praying with me about these night terrors my little girl was having.
Angels among us…
All week long I checked the weather.
When you have kids that live in different cities, you keep an eye on those towns just as much as you keep an eye on the local weather. IF not more.
So far, so good.
It looked like the hurricane was heading in a different direction than Augusta, where my son goes to school.
By Thursday evening, I was concerned. I told him, I begged him to keep an eye out and to stay inside.
