Fun Friday Give Away…

Happy Fun Friday!

It has been a while since we have had a Fun Friday give away! So, let’s do one!

Years ago, my 10th grade year of high school to be exact, I had a math teacher.

Math was very difficult for me, and it still is.

However, my math teacher, Mrs. Crowley, made math fun! She would throw candy at us when we got an answer correct, she would tell stories of her children and her husband.

At the young and influential age of 15, I absolutely adored Mrs. Crowley! She made the biggest impact on my heart and my life at that time.

Years later, many years later, I never forgot her.

During a bible study in my mid-thirties, we were encouraged to write a letter to someone that inspired us. I knew exactly who I was going to write to…Mrs. Crowley!

To my utter surprise, she lived not far from me! I did a google search and found her address and mailed a long letter of how she had been one of the greatest influences in my impressionable teenage years.

She even mailed me a letter back! I was thrilled!

Around that same time, I led my first bible study at our church. I was very nervous. I had never taught before, and my stomach was in knots that first night of Bible study.

Minutes before my class started, Mrs. Crowley walked through the door! She had recently joined our church and she wanted to attend a Bible study, and here she was in MY class!

Tears of joy flowed down my cheeks, my heart was suddenly calm and I was just so thankful to re-connect with her.

We continued our friendship and we met a few times a month to meet and talk and pray.

Years have gone by and our lives have gotten full with children and family and just all the things.

However, a few months ago, I received a book in the mail.

It was a book that Mrs. Crowley had WRITTEN! I was overjoyed! She was always such an incredible teacher and writer.

I devoured it within a day or so and now I am reading it again.

So, without further adieu, I want to give away her book to one of you!

You will absolutely learn so much! She is a wonderful writer and teacher.

I mean, obviously if she can make 10th grade math exciting, imagine how her book about Jesus will be!
