Today I have the incredible honor of introducing one very precious SHINE girl, Sarah Frachiseur. As you probably already know by recognizing her name, Sarah is one of our very own SHINE prayer girls!

Sarah faithfully responds to your prayers here on SHINE. She is an amazing prayer warrior. I love reading her prayers. She inspires me every day with her faithfulness! Sarah prays daily over each and every one of you precious SHINE girls. She truly does.

Wednesday SHINE

Morning SHINE girls! :) I am very humbled to say the least that Jill asked me to share on here. I can hardly put into words what Jill and her ministry through SHINE has done in my life.

It has opened many doors for me into great and awesome things, and closed doors to those ugly things that I need to let go of and never pick up or entertain again. I will be forever grateful to her for her obedience to Him, and all that He has done through her and the many others who share on SHINE.

 I hope this post finds you all doing well, and if things aren't so happy in your world right now I hope that changes real soon. As Christians, we know that trials and tribulations come and go. I've found that in my life I can be doing great on Tuesday, and my world can flip upside down by Wednesday.

Have you ever seen a fish out of water on the ground? That would be me on one of those bad days, when I’m trying to handle it on my own without Him. I flounder and flop around in circles, instead of running directly to Him and submitting all of the control to Him.

Recently, the Lord has been reminding me over and over again how powerful His Word is, and how His Word is ALIVE and BREATHING. When I read it, it covers me, it soothes me, it comforts me, it teaches me, it leads me, it calms me, it lifts my chin back up so I'm focusing on Him and not the circumstances around me.

The Word says, "For the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12.  After Jesus had been fasting for forty days and forty nights, he was hungry! Can you imagine? When Satan tempted Him, do you remember how Jesus responded? With the Word! If you have time, please read Matthew 4. He responded with the Word each time saying, “It is written…”, and He would quote scripture! “Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended Him.” Matthew 4:11

Ivan Tait, one of my favorite evangelists once said, "The devil is a black belt in spiritual warfare." If we are going up against him, we have to have the most powerful weapon there is. The Word! :)

This scripture is just awesome, "The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven." Deuteronomy 28:7. How awesome is that?!

Girls, believe in the power of His Word! Use it! Claim it over you, your husband, your marriage, your children, your health, and your finances! "But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten." Jeremiah 20:11.

Speak His Word over your situation, He will go before you. "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31.

My baby boy hasn't been in a big boy bed for long. He just turned three and is a little afraid of the dark. He has just started this new thing where he gets up in the middle of the night to come to our bed. We gently lead him back to his bed, and encourage him to go back to sleep. He got to pick out his own little "mini fish aquarium" night light. Cutest little thing ever!  We have just been praying the Word over him. Over and over and over. The peace that surpasses all understanding on his little mind and body as he sleeps. He slept all night last night. I know it's not coincidence, it's His power. If He's this attentive in caring for my baby boy, I know He will be there for even bigger problems and obstacles you may be facing.

Start now. Whatever it may be, give it to Him and speak His Word over it. Whether it is a fear you have had since childhood, abuse you experienced in the past or as a child, someone who has hurt you badly, a really nasty memory you want out of your head and gone forever, devastation or a loss, a sickness you face, or you may be hurting for a loved one. 

"The Lord says to you, ‘Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope because of this huge army. The battle is not yours. It is mine." 2 Chronicles 20:15 

He's enough. His Word is enough. How badly do you want to fix that boo boo on your little one's knee when it's bleeding? How badly do you want to dry their tears and erase their pain when they are crying and upset? How badly do you want to see your loved one feel better, or come out of the valley they seem to be stuck in? He wants that for us even more than we want it for them.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10.

 We can have what the Word says we can have. If it says we can have peace, then we can have peace! If it says we can have victory, then we can have victory! If it says we can have healing or deliverance, then we can have them both!

I look at the Word as an awesome gift He has given us. All the power of heaven is backing you up when you speak His Word, and all we have to do is open our mouths, speak, claim it and believe!  

As Jill leads us, we read daily. We are learning, we are growing, and His Word is being engrafted on our hearts and minds. I pray that as we read His Word it will penetrate into the deepest parts of our hearts. I pray it will produce life, healing, deliverance, wisdom, protection, peace, and direction.  Speak His Word over your situation today and always. 

Keep reading, and keep believing! And don’t ever give up. He is with you always.
