Friday SHINE....
Today's Reading: 1 Corinthians 8
Happy Fun Friday, SHINE girls! What an incredible journey this week through 1 Corinthians. Paul is covering almost everything, isn't he? :)
I wish that we could all sit in a circle with some hot coffee and talk about these last few chapters of our reading. I would love nothing more than to hear your sweet voices sharing your hearts and what you are learning through our reading. Heavenly!!
Before SHINE first began back in January, I never ever dreamed that my friends and I would be DAILY discussing God's Word together. The Lord put a desire in my heart a very long time ago to have a Bible Study that all of my friends could attend.
At the time the desire was placed in my heart, my friends all lived in different places. It would have never worked out for us to coordinate a time and place to meet. It was a dream that seemed impossible to come true.
Oh, but when God places a desire in your heart HE is able to fulfill it! Yes, He is!
So, in His perfect way, He created SHINE on January 1st of this year. A long time desire of my heart, finally fulfilled in His impeccable timing. Oh, how He amazes me!
A bible study that ALL of your girlfriends can attend....oh, yes, He is Good.
My favorite part of this ministry is discussing the reading when I am out and about with other SHINE girls. I still stand in awe that our conversations have changed. Our reading materials have changed. Our hearts have changed, and are still changing.
Girls, only God could bring such awesomeness. Such fulfillment. His word is nourishment to our weary souls.
Our Fun Friday Challenge:
Talk about what you are reading in His Word with someone today. Tell them what God is showing you form His Word. Change your conversations, girls. Turn it all back to Him!

God showed me this verse a couple of years ago, and I truly try to live this every day! It has helped me to keep my eyes fixed on Him:
“But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."
Isaiah 43:18-19

Let's live this, girls! Eating, drinking, and breathing His Word daily will change our days. It will change our conversations, it will change our homes, it will change our neighborhoods, it will change our towns, it will change our states, it will change our world.
