Thursday SHINE
Good Thursday morning, SHINE girls!
Here is today's reading: Job 11
Hopefully, you're getting used to praying, claiming and seeking a resolute Victory over that thing.
You know the one. It always seems to trip us up, to snare us and make us feel more captive than ever.
Wait a second. That's so not the end of the story.
Praise His name!
I love the promise of Victory.
Thank God, we aren't as stuck as we sometimes feel.
We have hope in the Cross...the most amazing Victory of all.
This passage makes we want to do the Victory dance...be blessed!
2 Corinthians 2:14-16
14-16In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, He brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance. Because of Christ, we give off a sweet scent rising to God, which is recognized by those on the way of salvation—an aroma redolent with life.
Several years ago a friend of mine went to a Beth Moore simulcast. At the end of the session, Beth asked the women to pair up and say these words to each other.
Let them resonate with you and if you would, please read to yourself while facing the mirror. C'mon, don't blush. You know her well. Speak this truth to yourself! There is amazing power in the spoken word.
God has not overlooked you
Give Him full access
To all of your longings.
Pray every single day
Are you Jealous?
Are you Worried?
Roll it all on Jesus
He's strong enough to carry it
Big enough to handle it.
Trust God with all your heart
Now leave this place
And go into the world
and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Who's with me?

And guess what, she couldn't believe the result - the Holy Spirit showed up and
by the end she was bawling - in complete awe of her Savior.

My Dear
Sister,
God has not overlooked you
He has not ignored you
He hears every petition
And intimately knows
the heart beneath it.
Give Him full access
To all of your longings.
Pray every single day
To become a person who delights in Him.
When it seems to disappear- -
Remember to check your JAW
Are you Jealous?
Are you Angry?
Are you Worried?
Roll it all on Jesus
He's strong enough to carry it
Big enough to handle it.
Trust God with all your heart
Now leave this place
And go into the world
being Victorious in your Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Claiming our Victory!
Who's with me?
