Thursday SHINE part two...

No, you are not mistaken...this is another post for today.

Girls, it's one of those days. The kind of day when you cannot keep the Glory of the Lord inside of you!! It just bubbles out all over the place!

If we were in a room together, you would literally have to muzzle me right now. I cannot help myself...JESUS IS LORD!

I have heard from so many of you via email, text, phone calls, face-to-face regarding your Victories this week. I'm truly blown away...yet, not a bit surprised. GOD IS ABLE.

So, on that note...I have a little something to share from a dear friend, Cassie Laffan. She sent me an email earlier telling me about her 1000 blessings journey. Remember the post? You can find it here.

Here is an excerpt from her email sharing one of her 1000 blessings for today:

 As I look around my house it's so easy to get caught up in "the mess" and want to complain about it!! However today I am asking God for His Eyes. You see there is stuff everywhere of my girls but man o man would life not be the same without my girls!!! Today I am thankful for "the mess" in my home and the joy my girls bring me daily!!

But it's how we choose to look at it now isn't it that can totally change our perspective!! Love my girls and their shoes and socks and jewelry!!

Cassie even went as far as to send me a picture of her beautiful "mess."

I received her email as I walked into my house. My not-so-clean house. 

You see, I was gone all day away from home yesterday. I even still had a crockpot full of spaghetti on the counter...from Tuesday night. Yes, Tuesday. (please don't judge) :)

Instead of losing my JOY, I found my peace in the beauty of the mess! Thanks to Cassie.
