We are on day 15 of our 40 Day Prayer Challenge! Yay!
I am so proud of you girls for hanging in here with me and praying through your days! Isn't is cool to be constantly engaged with the Father?

Okay, to go along with our 40 day prayer challenge, I have another challenge for you this week. Don't get too excited! ;)
I want all of you to consider fasting this week. If you are not familiar with fasting, it is giving up something in order to focus on prayer.
I lovingly encourage you to pray and ask the Lord what He desires you to fast this week. It can be different things for different people.
As Christians, our example to follow is Jesus Christ. Guess what? Jesus fasted! He fasted food for 40 days! Can you imagine?
Jesus knew how powerful fasting was. He knew that it would draw Him closer to the Father than anything else.
Girls, we can do this! We can!
Pray today, and seek the Lord's will for your fast this week. He will point you in the right direction on what to give up for this week.
The important thing is that we continue to pray as we fast. Pray though the absence of the very thing that you are fasting. Powerful!
Fasting brings miracles, girls. It also brings clarity.
"Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments —on the stone tablets." Exodus 34:28
Hello! Moses wrote the Ten Commandments while he was fasting! That shows us just how powerful fasting is in our lives!
"For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry."
Matthew 4:2
The above verse is about our very own Jesus! 40 days, girls, without food. Can you even imagine?
40 days is a very significant number in the Bible. Hence, our 40 Day Prayer Challenge.
40 days means business, girls. It means we are serious about drawing near to Him and seeking His Face.
Let's draw even closer to Him this week, girls.
Let's fast. Let's pray.

There's no need to tell anyone that you are fasting. Keep it a secret between you and your Beloved Heavenly Father. He loves this intimacy with you. He really does!
“When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
