Thursday SHINE....

Today's Reading: 2 Samuel 22
Friday's Reading: 2 Samuel 23

Happy Thursday, SHINE girls!

Have you been thinking about Jesus a lot more than usual this week? I sure hope so!

Remember at the beginning of the week, I challenged you to focus on how Jesus must have been feeling this week leading to His crucifixion. Has it made a difference in your days?

Is sure has mine! I find myself having a very different perspective. HIS perspective.

It's incredible the things He shows us when we let Him. When we actually take the time to let Him open our eyes to the things He sees. Oh, the sights!

This will be the last SHINE post of the week. Tomorrow is Good Friday, and I want to honor Him by giving my laptop a little rest and soaking up this day.

Here's our Friday challenge ( a day early):

Stay focused on Jesus. Continue what you have been doing this week by honoring Him with your full attention and your full awareness of His presence.

Girls, He's right beside you. Wherever you are today, He is with you! Your Saviour, your companion, your best friend....acknowledge Him in all you do!

Finish the reading plan for this week, and find some time to read a few chapters from the New Testament. If you have read the stories of His crucifixion a hundred times, read it again. If you have never read the story of His death and resurrection. please take time to do so this weekend.

You will be so glad you did!

So, are we clear?

Focus on Him. Honor Him. Acknowledge Him. Read about Him. :-)

I will post the reading plan for next week on Sunday.

I hope your Easter weekend is full of God's best blessings, sweet and beautiful SHINE girls!

Soak up your time with your loved ones and savor His presence with you through it all!

Keep letting your little lights SHINE!

Oh, how He loves you!!

Who else has ever died for you?

totally head over heels in love with Jesus,

jill

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
